Todd White delivers an inspiring, riveting, energizing, religion-busting, kingdom-building, world-loving message! If you aren't familiar with him or even if you are, you can watch a video of his testimony here.Sound bites from last evening:
Ephesians 3:10-11 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV)
We ought to be so radical, people around us go, "Wow, what just happened?"
We should be so heavenly minded we can't help but be earthly awesome!
It's simple: We die, He lives!
We've given up our rights.
Focus on being alive in Him!
When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out. So when you squeeze a Christian, how come Jesus doesn't come out?
We must have the character that goes along with the miracles.
It's not about being right, it's about being righteous.
Grace is the fuel that allows us to do the stuff.
Submitting to God is what defeats the enemy.
God, we give up! Bring on the wrecking ball!
Anyone can attempt to pull the crap out of someone. It takes a real man of God to look inside and pull the gold out of someone.
Everybody looks like a Christian from a distance, but up close you can see the fruit, or lack of it.
(Jesus cursed the fig tree.)
We're supposed to be like God.
Be faithful in everything - God's looking.
You don't truly know the Word until you become it.
It's not about how we feel.
Jesus said He always does what pleases the Father.
People know they are messed up. We don't need to tell them.
If you want what you deserve, go to hell!
If you really love people, you don't expect anything.
Become love.
What if we had no buttons (for others to push)?
We don't have the right to manifest ourselves and cop an attitude.
When appropriate, he answers, "because I walk with God."
Do everything without complaining.
Instead of singing "I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross." Rather "I need to know how much it cost."
Make me become love!
